02 / What we collect
The information we receive depends on how you interact with the site.
- Enquiries: name, email address, brand or organisation, project type, budget/timing information, referral source, links and your message.
- Creative Brief: contact details, project and brand information, deliverables, references, timelines, budget information and any files you choose to upload.
- Prompt Vault requests: email address and, only if you actively tick the optional box, your marketing preference.
- Course waitlist: email address and the fact that you asked to receive course-launch information.
- Technical information: hosting and security providers may process information such as IP address, browser/device data, timestamps and request logs when you use the site.
03 / Why we use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, assess briefs, prepare or discuss a proposed project, provide resources you request, manage the course waitlist, maintain business records, protect the site and comply with legal obligations.
Lawful bases
- Steps at your request before a contract / contract: where information is needed to discuss, quote for or deliver a project.
- Legitimate interests: to answer genuine business enquiries, fulfil a requested resource, administer the studio and protect the site, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent: for optional marketing and course-launch emails where consent is requested. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: where records must be kept or information must be disclosed by law.
05 / How long we keep it
Retention depends on the purpose and whether a project proceeds. As a working policy:
- general enquiries that do not become projects are normally kept for up to 24 months;
- client, contractual and financial records may be kept for up to 6 years where needed for tax, accounting or legal purposes;
- Prompt Vault request records are normally kept for up to 12 months after access is fulfilled unless the information is also needed for another lawful purpose;
- course-waitlist and optional marketing details are kept until you withdraw consent or the list is no longer needed, with periodic review.
Information may be deleted sooner when it is no longer needed.

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal data, object to certain processing, request portability, and withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis.

07 / Marketing and waitlist emails
General NOELL marketing is optional. The Prompt Vault form keeps resource fulfilment separate from the unticked marketing checkbox. The course waitlist is a specific request for course-launch updates. Every consent-based marketing communication should provide a practical way to unsubscribe.
